Peregrine's 'Beers with Benefits' series: Our new ‘ask-us-anything’ workshops in Stockholm’s city center

It’s not that we don’t like breakfast seminars, we just like after work sessions better. In our experience, set agendas and prepared presenters can teach you a lot. But what most of them are lacking is a true dialog, solving real life cases and business challenges at hand. People leave Inspired maybe, but sometimes without concrete actions or immediate results. This is where our approach kicks in.

Happy Twitter Anniversary to Peregrine!

Ok, we’ve only been on Twitter for a year now. But while that may not sound like much, it means we had a social media presence pretty much from day one of being in business (not bad!). We cover the latest trends and developments in digital marketing, web technology, social media, SEO and related fields.

Welcome to the team, Agnes!

Before the summer we have been advertising a vacancy for our digital marketing trainee program and the responses - quite frankly - were overwhelming. So much talent out there from great schools and excellent, highly relevant courses. In total we received upwards of 80 applications, with dozens of qualified candidates to go through. In the end it was Agnes Erdmark who has been chosen as the best fit for us and our clients this time around.

How to win Search Engine Optimization in 2018 (and beyond)

Search Engine Optimization is probably one of the most dynamic fields within digital marketing. What you knew about SEO 2 or 3 years ago may be of historical value but will not make a page rank high in 2018. Unless you manage to keep up with the evolution of search behaviour from a consumer perspective and the ranking factors of search engines from a Google perspective, you are guaranteed to miss vital aspects that may prevent your or your client’s page from being in that top quarter of the first search engine results page.

How do you hire for the future?

Many of today’s businesses are lacking digital vision and strategy, and are held back by a somewhat conservative mentality and company culture. Our solution is to analyse and optimise (digitize where possible) processes first. We are looking at technology as an enabler for process improvement secondly, and only then do we look at the competencies needed to drive and leverage this process focused tech setup, by identifying the right people profiles. But what qualities are needed in new hires to future-proof your business?

Peregrine training at Berghs School of Communication

Peregrine Founder and COO Jannis was invited to conduct training for a group of professional and active marketers at Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm. The participants came both from the advertiser and agency side. In times of marketing transformation, the need for guidance on this topic has never been bigger. It's crystal clear that in-house teams and agency eco-systems of talent are not assessing the available marketing technology stack that their efforts rely on.
